Appearing on TV show, Botched By Nature, Addie said she hoped that Dr. Dubrow and Dr. Nassif would be able to help her fix her bum...
Talking about her condition, Addie's mum said she didn't know she had conjoined twins until Addie was born.
"I had an ultrasound and they didn’t see it. They just saw the one, healthy baby," she tells the doctors. "So it must have been quite a shock when Addie was born and they suddenly scooped her away.
Dr. Dubrow asks: What happened?"
"They told me that it was a Siamese twin. But I never got to see it because they always kept it wrapped. They wouldn’t let me see it." "They probably knew that the twin wasn’t viable. And in your condition, having just delivered, they probably didn't want to upset you."
"When I got dressed for PE, the girls knew it. They noticed me. They started teasing me and started calling me hurtful names. The reason I’m so shy is because the bullying caused me to isolate myself from everyone. I didn’t want to get hurt anymore," she reveals.She adds: "I’ve never really had a social life and when I dated it was more like a friendship. It was never an intimate relationship."
"I think it was because she was ashamed,” her mum adds.
"Is that true?"
"Yes," an emotional Addie replies before the doctors tell her they hope they can help.
Explaining how he planned to change Addie's life, Dr Dubrow explained the procedure;
"I really want to take the central concavity and just make it go away. My plan is to first perform liposuction on the flanks, next I’m going to have to make incisions on both cheeks, lift up the scar tissue and remove some skin.
"Then I will close the incisions in a way that will hide her scars by moving them towards the inner cleft and will get rid of the big dent on the right.
"Lastly, I will use the fat I took from the liposuction to fill any remaining concavity."

Lagos police discover shallow graves in home of prophet who chained his teenage son and 27 others
Speaking to newsmen at the police command yesterday August 23rd, Owoseni said the prophet who claims to be a traditional medicine practitioner, was arrested alongside his first wife last weekend after they got a tipoff that the couple buried some dead persons in their home.
“We got a tip-off that there were people he buried in that compound and he confirmed it during interrogation. Because the area is swampy, the suspect had allegedly buried some people in the swamp and about three others in the house. When we asked him of their identities, he said it was some of his patients that were brought to his home from the hospital, after they were given up for dead. He said the patients finally died in his care and were buried in the swamp. When we also queried him on the claims that he sold the body parts of the deceased to ritualists, he swore that he was only a traditional healer and not a human parts seller”According to the Commissioner, the prophet claimed he chained his teenage son, Toba Adedoyin Adeyemi, for weeks so he could cure him from stealing.
“When we got information that a teenager was locked up in a house, the area G Commander invited the suspect, who claimed that his son was known for stealing and so he locked him up in chains to cure him of stealing. While we were still on that case, we got another credible tip off that there were other people chained up in that same house. Of course, we carried out a raid and confirmed the allegation to be true. But before then, we had contacted the Lagos State Government because we don’t have the facility to keep the rescued persons. His claims now that he has been arrested is that he is a herbalist, but why didn’t he tell us that when we first invited him to the station for locking up his stepson? He only told us that he wanted to cure his son of stealing.”he said

U.S. judge blocks proposed transgender bathroom policy
U.S. District Court Judge Reed O'Connor, of the Northern District of Texas, on Sunday blocked an administration policy that would have directed public schools to allow transgender students use the bathrooms of their choice. The Judge granted a nationwide injunction stooping the policy from being enacted just before school resumption.
Judge O'Connor, an appointee of former Republican President George W. Bush, issued a nationwide injunction blocking the Obama administration's bathroom guidelines. According to O'Connor, the federal government failed to provide states with sufficient notice and opportunity for comment before issuing the guidelines. He said the guidelines had the effect of law and contradicted existing legislative and regulatory texts.
The judge’s order was a victory for social conservatives in the continuing legal battles over the restroom guidelines. However, the U.S. Department of Justice said in a statement it was disappointed by the decision and was reviewing its options.

We will be fair and just in our anti-corruption war- Pres Buhari assures John Kerry
President Buhari has pledged that the anti-corruption crusade being led by his administration will be fair, just and will be according to the rule of law. He said this during his meeting with the US Secretary of State, John Kerry, at the State House, Abuja yesterday August 23rd. According to President Buhari, anyone perceived corrupt will be treated innocently until proven otherwise.
"We will insist on the standards we're establishing. We are laying down administrative and financial instructions in the public service that must be obeyed. Any breach will no longer be acceptable. We will retrain our staff, so that they understand the new orientation. And those who run foul of these rules will be prosecuted, no matter who is involved. But we will be fair, just and act according to the rule of law. Anyone perceived corrupt is innocent till we can prove it. We will work very hard to establish documentation for successful prosecution, and those in positions of trust will sit up," he said
President Buhari appreciated the intervention of the U.S before the 2015 polls, demanding free and fair elections in Nigeria, saying, "America did not do it because of what it stands to benefit from us. You did it for the Nigerian people. It tells so much what the U.S stands for in the world."
On the Boko Haram insurgency, President Buhari thanked the U.S for both hard and soft military help. "The training and intelligence that we could not muster ourselves, we received. The training has made Boko Haram less of a threat to Nigeria and the Lake Chad Basin region, while the military hardware has given our troops added confidence."
President Buhari said though Militancy in the Niger Delta has impacted negatively on the economy and affected the positive intentions of international and local investors, government was showing restraint not to use real force, "except when constrained to do so."
On the economy, the President assured that the focus of his administration is on the diversification of the economy having learnt our lessons from years of over dependence on oil.
In his remarks, Kerry commended the courage of President Buhari in fighting corruption. He said President Buhari inherited abig problem when he assumed office in 2015.
"We applaud what you are doing. Corruption creates a ready-made playing field for recruiting extremists. You inherited a big problem, and we will support you in any way we can. We will work with you very closely. We don't want to interfere, but will offer opportunities as you require." he said
The American Secretary of State also pledged to assist in tackling the humanitarian challenges in the North-east, adding that his country would get the UK, France, and others "to augment the support."
"Nigeria is priority for us. We won't miss the opportunity to work together, because you are making significant progress," Kerry said.

Padding scandal: Abdulmumin Jibrin to appear before Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption
In another victory for our journey to ensure that justice is served on Speaker Dogara, Lasun, Doguwa, Ogor and 9 other members, I have received official invitation from Prof Itse Sagay SAN, Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee against Corruption to make a comprehensive presentation to the Committee on the allegations I raised against Mr Speaker and others and discuss strategies on how to achieve results. The letter was signed by Executive Secretary of the Committee Prof Bolaji Owasanoye.
